The goal of the Combat Sparring League (CSL)TM is to provide a platform for amateur Muay Thai and Kickboxing fighters to compete in a relatively safe environment. The CSL is a semi-contact event that emphasizes technique instead of power. NO KNOCKOUTS ARE ALLOWED! ABSOLUTELY NO STRIKES WITH THE INTENT TO DO DAMAGE ARE ALLOWED! All competitors are required to wear protective gear to ensure safety, and matches are sanctioned by the International Sport Kickboxing Association (ISKA). Competitors will gain practical experience in their discipline of Muay Thai or Kickboxing through controlled semi-contact competition. The Combat Sparring League (CSL) is “Next Level Training”TM
All matches will take place on open mats; no match will take place within a ring. Competitors are required to wear the following protective gear:
Bring your own protective gear to be inspected and approved by an ISKA official at the event. We will not provide any protective equipment.
Weigh-ins will take place the morning of the competition. The time will be designated by the ISKA. Each competitor will be matched according to height, weight, age, gender and experience.
Competitors are encouraged to register online before the event. You will also be able to register at the door so long as there are still available slots. Download and complete the fighter information forms (Fighter Waiver, COVID-19 Release, Bout Confirmation & Fighter Application). Bring the completed forms with you to the event.

MATCHES:
Adult (18+ yrs.) matches are 3×2 minute rounds with a 1 minute rest. Junior (-17 yrs.) matches are 3×1 minute rounds with a 1 minute rest.

Three judges will be present to score each round based on clean strikes, kicks and fighter aggression. A fighter wins the round if two of three judges score for a their corner. To win the match a fighter must win two of three rounds. The referee may disqualify a fighter or deduct points at anytime for illegal strikes or unsportsmanlike conduct.
All competitors will receive an award after their match. First place competitors receive a trophy. All other competitors receive medals for their effort.
